In 2007 Afripack signed an agency agreement with Mondi Coating Zeltweg in Austria, an international producer of extrusion-coated and laminated consumer packaging materials, particularly for the food, pet-food, non-food and pharmaceuticals industries, and has been successfully printing and converting these high quality materials using its two eight colour flexographic presses. The result is that ACF is now able to supply the local market with cost effective, high quality packaging included in which are laminates for dehydrated foods (such as soups), coated materials for dry foods (sugar, salt and pepper sachets) and laminates (for use in the lids of polymer containers and glass jars).
